Thanks to the e28 DAC my system has been elevated to a higher level. Everything sounds much more detailed, even with very complex music every tiny detail gets through and is so separated that I get a feeling that music has become faster. Although the sound comes out very detailed, it is not at any time sharp or unpleasant. This is very natural sounding DAC. I have never heard more natural vocals and cymbals. Finally, "s" sounds as it should and every fundamental has it's right harmonics without any smearing. Thank you, exaSound!"

Highly acclaimed Yarlung Records has recently transferred twenty of their original tapes to 256fs DSD.  The first four - sponsored by exaSound - are now available on https://yarlungrecords.nativedsd.com.

The "exaSound Quartet" includes Sophisticated Lady Jazz Quartet (here is Bill Milkowski’s review in The Absolute Sound), Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 (here is Jim Svejda’s review for Fanfare and KUSC-FM), Suryodaya and the percussion album Smoke & Mirrors: Vanish. All releases are mastered by Steve Hoffman and recorded by Bob Attiyeh.  The DSD files, in 256, 128 and 64 fs are direct transfers from the SonoruS Series of analog tapes.

“Then this year, I ventured into Mch PC playback via Dirac Live EQ and the ExaSound e28. Now, this is really, really outstanding reproduction elevated quite a few unmistakable notches above my previous setup. I love it. It is way beyond my wildest dreams. The PC sounds better than any player I know of, Dirac is better sounding than Audyssey, and the e28 is extraordinary, the biggest single contributor to my sonic improvement.”
