The exaSound e28 multichannel DSD256 DAC was at the center of the MBL-powered Positive Feedback Online (PFO) room at T.H.E. Show Newport Beach 2014. Dr. David Robinson, Publisher of the Positive Feedback Magazine, used the exaSound e28 DAC to illustrate the sonic differences between DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 takes from the same master tapes.

My favorite room featured exaSound DACs and JansZen loudspeakers. George from exaSound was running the room with his laptop and JRiver Media Center connected to both his stereo and multi channel DACs. George played a piece of music for me and a colleague that sounded so much better than most of the other rooms combined...

During the past few months exaSound received numerous requests to integrate the exaSound hardware volume control with JRemote. JRemote volume control is synchronized with J River and can be used to control the Windows system volume. The exaSound hardware volume control is independent from the Windows sound system. Until now JRemote users had to use an infrared remote for volume control.

Toronto, ON, Canada - exaSound Audio Design announces another world's first - DSD256 playback on Mac OS X Mavericks. The new DSD256 capability is available with the release of two new driver technologies - Core Audio DoP256 and OS X ASIO. Owners of the e20 Mk III, e22 and e28 DACs can download the update free from the exaSound website.
