- Leading digital audio developer exaSound Audio Design unveils the newest member of its award-winning line of D/A converters - the e22 DAC. The new exaSound e22 is a third generation DSD256 DAC that brings fine audio to a higher level. It offers to the audiophile community the best DSD support, including native DSD256+ mode at a sampling rate of 12.288 MHz.

Unique in-house developed technologies like asynchronous USB interface with error correction, proprietary computer drivers, and Galvanic ground isolation give exaSound DACs what it takes to compete with the most expensive D/A converters on the market today. The vanishingly low distortion, noise, and jitter levels of the e22 greatly extend the accuracy, transparency and dynamics of music reproduction. You can hear the difference from the first listening impression, or you can see it on the measurements published on the exaSound.com website.

Compared to its predecessor, the widely reviewed e20, the e22 DAC offers substantial advantages: 82fs Femto-Master-Clock, an enhanced high-current headphone amplifier, lower noise and distortion levels, a 12V Trigger Output, and heavy-duty USB-B and RCA connectors.

The e22 DAC is immediately available for purchase from exaSound.com and from dealers in the US, UK, Japan and Canada.
