Dear exaSound, After extensive experimenting I found a set-up for the PlayPoint that works very good and gives an excellent sound. I would like to share this with you. I had an external Samsung SSD of 500Gb for my photographs. It is extremely fast and I wanted to know what it would do if I would directly couple it to the PlayPoint (the USB3.0 port). I heard a clear difference compared to the sound of playing via a Synology NAS. It appears to me that the rhythm and the timing is better. So my set-up is very simple now: just attach the SSD-drive with my music libraries to the Playpoint. I have a Samsung tablet with Android. I use BubbleUPNP player on that and I can really do everything: find my libraries attached to the Playpoint play all formats including DSD file add radio stations (for the stations I want to listen I look up the web-streaming address and add that as a saved playlist). It works perfect as Cloud solutions Qobuz & Tidal are included and I can play and look for music there. Without being able using Roon, this is the best solution for me in terms of sound quality (it is really amazing) and simplicity. It is very stable. Kind regards, Hein, The Netherlands
