e20 DAC Overview
exaSound e20 Mk II is the world's-first high-end consumer-oriented DAC capable of achieving DSD playback at sampling rate of 11.2896 MHz (DSD 256). e20 Mk III sets another world's-first - support for DSD at 12.288 MHz.

In-house developed custom drivers, galvanic isolation and proprietary asynchronous USB interface give the e20 what it takes to compete with the most expensive DACs on the market today.

Try it risk-free for 30 days. The difference is obvious from the first listening impression - even with an ordinary CD.

  • DSD64: 2.8224 / 3.072 MHz.
  • DSD128: 5.6448 / 6.144 MHz.
  • DSD256: 11.2896 / 12.288 MHz. (Now available on Mac OS X Mavericks)
  • 384kHz/32bit maximum PCM sampling rate. Native support for DXD 352.8 kHz master files.
  • ES9018 Sabre32 reference DAC chip from ESS Technologies.
  • Proprietary Asynchronous USB Interface eliminates jitter caused by unstable computer timing.
  • OS X and Windows ASIO custom high-performance drivers (DSD256 is supported only on Windows).
  • Automatic sampling rate switching.
  • Supports software upsampling up to 384 kHz PCM and DSD256.
  • 0.13 ps master clock. Jitter minimization with 3 three precision oscillators.
  • 11 linear power filtering stages.
  • Galvanic isolation between the USB subsystem and the DAC circuits eliminates ground loops noise and blocks computer-originated interferences.
  • Second generation headphone amplifier that can bring the best out of the most accurate headphones.
  • Simultaneously driven, gold plated balanced (XLR), and unbalanced (RCA) line outputs.
  • Two S/PDIF inputs provide jitter reduction and superb D/A conversion when used with CD transports.
  • Mini-USB connector
